Incoming: New ‘RECEIPTS’...PODCAST ‘It's Your Girl Tolly T and Just Call Me Audrey’
Starting in 2016, the female-fronted podcast ‘The Receipts’ has dominated our airways with thought-provoking conversations, sex and relationship talks, pop culture discussions and cheeky gist. The podcast accompanied by visuals, was exclusively signed to Spotify in 2019, generating over 100,000 monthly listeners in 136 countries.
The weekly podcast previously hosted by ‘Tolani Shoneye, Milena Sanchez and Audrey Indome, runs on a biweekly schedule of the regular podcast, like an insight into their girls’ group chat, and a ‘Your Receipts’ episode, where the girls give unfiltered advice on their Listeners' juicy dilemmas.
They regularly have guest hosts including UK Black Gems such as Oloni, Chuckie Online, Tinie Tempah), and branching out internationally with star-studded black talents, Regina King), Coco Jones), and Lucky Daye.
The combination of their opinions, advice and personal stories throughout the podcast catalysed their book ‘KEEP THE RECEIPTS’, published in 2021, which quickly became a fan favourite and entered ‘THE SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLER’ list. Since then, The Receipts podcast has Won many podcast awards, hosted several live podcast shows; including touring the United Kingdom, and guest appearances on UK television including BBC 3's The Rap Game, the ITV2 show Don't Hate the Playaz, and THE BIG BREAKFAST, etc.
After the podcast's first hiatus in 7 years, the girls are back with all new ‘RECEIPTS’. The break was initiated by the departure of Milena Sanchez from the podcast to focus on other things, and Audrey giving birth to her first child allowing some maternity leave. Despite this, Tolly and Audrey have not stopped working, maintaining their social media presence and showing glimpses of regenerating the podcast as a duo, with new branding, sets, and schedules.
For their loyal listeners the countdown is over, the 8th January 2024 marks a new era, and the Receipts are back, with 2 weekly episodes. Mondays bringing a ‘Your Receipts’ episode and Wednesdays with everything else. Be sure to follow the ladies on their new journey (THE RECEIPTS PODCAST).
