Hailing from East London Rio Rainz is a trailblazing artist fusing Alternative-R&B and Rap to create a sound synonymous to his name. Rio's unique cultural blend, being born to Irish and Jamaican parents, has influenced his sound and at just aged 6, he was already performing in his local church and performing arts school.

Rio Rainz first broke onto the UK rap scene with a black box freestyle, creating buzz around the young artist at the tender age of 15. Co-written and produced by Oscar Moos (Flohio/Col3trane), The lyrics and music video explores themes of growing pain and love in East London, with the music video showcasing Rio Rainz in his element touring vibrant London city in a classic car and playing the keys tapping into his musical roots. This is a nostalgic nod to the legends of hip-hop and the UK rap scene, as well as reminiscent of the music scene in the 2000s. 

Rio Rainz breaks down the music video in his own words stating, “BAD!’ has a high-energy feel that makes you want to move and feel a bit vain. It’s not just about being bad. It’s about embracing your mischievous side and breaking away from conventions and expectations. It encourages you to take risks and celebrate your individuality without worrying about judgement.”
