Rihanna is back with new music in 2022! Lift Me Up from the Black Panther Soundtrack
It’s been 85 years since Rihanna has released any music, but one thing’s for sure is Ms Fenty has always been THAT gorl! We were last given a Rihanna feature on ‘Believe It’ by PARTYNEXTDOOR (2020) which was a bop for sure. However, since then, Bad Gal Riri has been focussing her energy on the Fenty Beauty/Fenty Skin beauty empire and has even started her own family with her partner A$AP Rocky since the pregnancy announcement in January this year that broke the internet.

Released 28th September 2022, ‘Lift Me Up’, is Rihanna’s new song and return back to the music world. We can hear the Rihanna Navy screaming for joy right now.
The single is from and inspired by the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie soundtrack. Lift Me Up is a beautiful, soft and expressive track written by Tems and there’s no denying she definitely left her mark on it.
Now, I don’t know about you but I love the song. Lift Me Up is reflective of how Rihanna has evolved as not only an artist but a woman, a business woman, a partner and now, a mother. I don’t know what others may have been expecting but this is a move soundtrack after all. It was never going to be a booty shacking club banger. However, I do hope one is coming very soon.
