From Barber Shops to Streetwear: How Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum x Sans Patrie Are Breaking Borders

Sailor Jerry and Sans Patrie Launch "Borderless" Capsule Collection

East London is buzzing with a fire new drop. Inspired by feeling nationless whilst paying homage to barber shop culture, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum has linked up with Sans Patrie, the streetwear label and tattoo studio founded by Delphin Musquet, a celebrity tattoo artist of French-Caribbean heritage who grew up in Bordeaux. Known for inking stars like the Arctic Monkeys, as well as film, TV, and music directors and actors, Delphin brings his unique perspective to the collection. Together, they’ve launched a fresh capsule collection called ‘Borderless’.

Shot in the heart of Shoreditch at Ruffians Barber Shop, the editorial features Delphin himself, capturing the fusion of Sailor Jerry’s tattoo heritage with a modern twist. This collaboration celebrates the idea of breaking down barriers, blending tattoo artistry with streetwear culture in the heart of London’s melting pot.

Sans Patrie Founder Delphin said: “The Borderless campaign with Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum encapsulates “Without Nation” – the literal definition of Sans Patrie in French. We believe in a philosophy that transcends geographical boundaries and embraces diversity and inclusivity. And for us, barber shops are creative spaces that represent themes in my mind of a borderless world, where individuals can connect and collaborate regardless of their nationality, ethnicity, or cultural background. We want to bring the melting pot to life in all its glory.”

This is a truly beautiful sentiment from Delphin and really gives this capsule collection a strong purpose that many can relate to, the feeling of belonging. Sans Patrie’s ‘Borderless’ collection is a love letter to barber shop culture and the art of craftsmanship found in these communal spaces. Wearing this tracksuit is not just a fashion statement, it’s a portal into a booming creative community and way to connect.

Limited-Edition Tracksuits & More: Where Ink Meets Streetwear

The ‘Borderless’ collection is serving up limited-edition tracksuits—hoodie and jogger combos with intricate black stitch designs that call back to Delphin’s iconic tattoo work. If you're into that clean, minimal look with a little pizzaz, this one’s for you. And it doesn’t stop there—co-branded caps and portable speakers are also up for grabs at the launch!

Karen Daly, Senior Brand Manager at Sailor Jerry added:Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum and Sans Patrie share the same principles of being creative, promoting self-expression and inclusivity. The ‘Borderless’ campaign aims to bring people together, no matter where they’re from, be it any city, country or continent across the world. The combination of apparel, speakers and limited-edition bottles is our nod to all creative industries and raising a glass to self-expression.”
